On March 31, Habitat for Humanity Kerr County had the privilege of joining partners and community members in Center Point for a Welcome Home Blessing with Robert and Victoria Hight and their three young children.
Their journey back home following the July 4, 2025 flood is one marked by resilience, faith, and the support of a community that showed up when it mattered most. From the early days of cleanup with volunteers, to walking alongside their case manager through the recovery process, the Hight family has experienced firsthand the strength of neighbors helping neighbors.
As Victoria shared during the visit, witnessing that outpouring of support was something she will never forget.
We are grateful to be part of moments like this and honored to walk alongside families as they return home.
