No skills are required – get started today!

Core Volunteers

Core volunteers are a dedicated group of individuals who commit to volunteering long-term. They work every Tuesday and Thursday, tackling everything from framing and installing trusses to sheathing and interior finishes.
Core volunteers are hearts and hands behind our mission.

FAQ

Our build schedule is divided into two blocks: January – June and September – December. We work on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM (and sometimes longer if you’re up for it!).
Our minimum age is 14 years old. Those under 16 years of age must have a parent or guardian to accompany them on the construction site.
No! Our construction manager and core volunteers are here to teach you everything you need to know.
Always dress for the weather. We recommend wearing old clothes and closed-toed shoes that you don’t mind getting stained or dirty. Hats are always a good idea too.
Just yourself! If you’d like to work with your own tools feel free to bring them but it is not necessary. We provide water and Gatorade.
