Young Men's Service League is a mother and son organization with a mission of service to their community.
The YMSL worked hard Saturday painting doors and trim for houses #114 and #115
YMSL stands for Young Men’s Service League where mothers and sons serve together to impact their local communities. Membership in the club takes place during the young man's high school years. YMSL meetings and projects set aside a special time in today's busy schedules for a mother to spend quality time with her son, which is so important. The hours moms and sons serve together make lasting impacts on the community and the family. There are currently 50 young men who attend the Boerne High Schools which are Champion, Boerne and Geneva School of Boerne.
Habitat is blessed to have this group of young men and their mothers come out to help us build homes. The Boerne chapter of YMSL plans to continue volunteering with Habitat once a month to help hard-working families in need of affordable housing realize their dream of home ownership. The families who will on day fill these homes and Habitat Kerr County thank the YMSL for their spirit, energy, and time.
