COVID-19 PROTECTION PROTOCOL

We are carefully monitoring reports of the spread and impact of the COVID-19 virus in our community. We want to keep you informed about the actions Kerr County Habitat is taking in response to this rapidly evolving situation. The health and safety of our employees, volunteers, customers, partners and clients are of the utmost priority. Our actions are driven by our commitment to provide a safe work environment at all times, whether in our facilities or the field. The Habitat ReStore is open Thursday through Saturday from 9:00am - 4:00pm. The Habitat office staff may be contacted by phone or email. Kerr County Habitat will have staff members in the office from 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. We will continue to monitor and update our response as appropriate until the virus is contained, and these measures are no longer necessary.

Kerr County Habitat for Humanity has voluntarily enacted the following measures. As this situation evolves these responses to the COVID-19 virus will most likely change. Please look for other email updates from us and check habitatkerr.org for news and updates.

  • We will follow CDC-recommended “social distance” and cleaning procedures at both locations.
  • Most Volunteer activities including groups are limited in scope and size

Please call the Habitat Office or ReStore if you have any questions. Please remember our neighbors and friends who might need assistance during these trying times. Some might need a kind word, or a grocery run until they are able to do so for themselves.

"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:40
