June 19, 2019, Kerrville, TX Habitat for Humanity Kerr County is pleased to announce the much-anticipated blessing and dedication of house #110. This home is sponsored by Charlene Spaulding in loving memory of her husband, Lee Spaulding. This will be the future home of Raymond Simmons, Vanessa Garza, and their two daughters Tiana and Ray-Vion. The Simmons-Garza family, along with many faithful and hardworking volunteers have given their sweat and time to this accomplishment. The entire community is invited to join this family and all those who helped make this possible in celebration of their new home. The House Blessing and Dedication for house #110 will be held on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the new home location on 132 Glenn Court, Kerrville, TX 78028. Below is a quote from the future homeowner on her gratitude and the impact of owning her own home: “As a family, we are pleased to say that being owners of a Habitat Home will be the start of a new beginning for us. We have always wanted to be a part of such a great organization. This is the best opportunity we have been given as a family.” ~ Vanessa Garza

Habitat for Humanity Kerr County, organized in 1989, has built and sold 110 homes to local low- income families. The families owning Habitat homes pay interest-free mortgages to further support the building of homes for future homeowners. Habitat Kerr County is affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International, a worldwide organization with the mission of eliminating sub-standard housing in our world.
