Habitat for Humanity Kerr County is pleased to announce the much-anticipated blessing and dedication of houses #108 and #109! House #108 will be the future home of John Sutton and his 2 sons, Trevor and Joshua. House #109 will be the future home of Erin Donahue and her children, Terra and Rory. The Sutton and Donahue families, along with many faithful and hardworking volunteers have given their sweat and time to this accomplishment.

The entire community is invited to join these families and all those who helped make this possible in celebration of these new homes. The House Blessing and Dedication for #109 will be held on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the new home location on 129 Glenn Court, Kerrville, TX 78028. The House Blessing and Dedication for #108 will be held immediately following at 10:30 a.m. at the new home location on 134 Glenn Court. Below are quotes from the future homeowners on their gratitude and the impact of owning their own homes:

“How do I explain what getting this home would mean to me and my children? It would mean safety, stability and having a place for freedom and independence. It also says that “you can do anything if you put your mind to it”. Thank you for this opportunity and wonderful journey to homeownership.” ~ Erin Donahue

“Owning a beautiful new home is a dream come true for me and my kids! The boys have always wanted their own bedrooms. Having two bathrooms will be a big deal for us! Also, having a yard and back yard will be wonderful new change. Being a part of this program has been life changing to us. Not only has it taught all of us how to build and maintain a home, but it has brought us closer together as a family. It has strengthened our bonds as father and sons. It also has taught the boys pride not only their home, but their neighborhood, and community.” ~ John Sutton
