The four local churches sponsoring this Habitat All Faith Build: Scott Warner - Senior Minister at Kerrville Church of Christ, David Danielson - lead Pastor at Impact Christian Fellowship, John Wheat - Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. David E. Payne - Kerrville First United Methodist Church
The Habitat All Faith Build serves as a poignant reminder that faith, when translated into action, has the power to raise not just walls and roofs but also hopes and dreams for a local family in need. The Habitat All Faith Build is dedicated to the memory of Glenn McGinnis. Glenn McGinnis was very instrumental in making Habitat for Humanity Kerr County what it is today. He was a devoted volunteer and served on the board. The street that this home is being built on was named after McGinnis (McGinnis Court.)
This home will be going to the Alexander family. Kaitlyn and Benjamin, a dedicated couple with a 2-year-old son. They live in a modest 3-bedroom house with Kaitlyn's parents and six other family members. Kaitlyn is a stay-at-home mom during the day and a 911 operator at night, ensuring her community's safety. Benjamin proudly serves in the Reserves and has worked at Loves Travel Stop for 7 years. They've completed their required sweat equity hours but continue to volunteer with us, eager to learn and contribute to future projects. Kaitlyn and Benjamin embody our program's dedication and community spirit, showcasing the power of hard work and shared goals.
