“Habitat for Humanity has given me the opportunity to own a house. When it was time to pick up the packets at the church, at first I didn’t want to go. Thankfully a friend and a coworker made me go. My thought was that I didn’t have a chance to get chosen. That same friend also made me turn in the packet. Several months later a gentleman called me and wanted to have a house visit. I was speechless. About a month later I got one of the greatest phone calls ever, saying that I was chosen to be in the program. J.T. has always wanted a dog and a yard to play in and now he can. From the bottom of my heart I appreciate everything that y’all have done for me.” – Dustin Warren
